Caracas Dessert is a homemade dessert brand that emerged during the pandemic, offering high-quality sweets when pastry shops were closed. Inspired by family recipes, the brand aims to provide a comforting and delicious experience that connects people to moments of joy during uncertain times.

My challenge in this project was to develop a visual identity that captured both the homemade essence of the desserts and the vibrant joy they bring. The inspiration came from the iconic bird that perches on Caracas balconies. While the vibrant tones of the city’s nature served as inspiration, they are not directly reflected in the brand’s palette. Instead, I used strong and playful colors that reflect the joy of the desserts, capturing the energy and delight they offer, especially during a time when daily life had come to a halt.

The result is a visual identity that reflects the sweetness of the desserts and captures the energy and joy they transmit. The logo stands out with its custom typography, adding dynamism and a unique touch to the brand. The vibrant colors combine with a clean and familiar design, inviting people to enjoy moments of happiness and optimism in challenging times.
